Carleton Christy received his BFA in printmaking at Brigham Young University, Utah, and anticipates earning his MFA in January 2006 from California State University, Long Beach where he has received a departmental scholarship and a university art collection award.  He has had solo shows in California and Utah, and has been shown in group shows in Arizona, California, Utah, England and Italy.  Carleton has also recently co-organized/curated Greater LA MFA, a student-to-student invitational exhibition among Master of Fine Arts students from fifteen schools in the greater Los Angeles area.
