Tetsuji Aono received his MFA in Studio Art from California State University Los Angeles, his BFA in Fine Art Ceramics from the Otis College of Art and Design, and his AA in Art from Los Angeles City College.  He was a guest lecturer at Sonoma State University, a curator for “Holiday Groove-a-Ganza” exhibit at the Dirt Gallery and curator for four years at the Closet of Modern Art Gallery (COMA) in Los Angeles.  His solo exhibits include “Bliss” at the Peter Blake Gallery, “Tetsuji Rocks & MakeitDonalds” at the Fine Arts Gallery at Cal State LA, “Ceramikitsch” at Galerie OZ, Paris, France, and “tetsuji aono” new work at the Richard Heller Gallery at the Bergamot Station in Santa Monica.  Other selected exhibits have been seen at the MOCA in Los Angeles, GIO Gallery in Peruguia, Umbria, Italy, Galerie OZ International Art Fair in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the Richard Heller Gallery in Austria, Ferrin Gallery in Northhampton, MA, Palazzo dei Consoli, Gubbio in Italy, Internation Fair of Contemporary Art in Switzerland, and the Pytka Design Studio in Venice.
