Accompanists

Nina Syerova was born in Kiev, Ukraine and started her musical education at age 6 in Children Music School, specializing in piano, theory and choir. She participated in numerous concerts with Kiev Children Philharmonic as piano soloist and choir singer. Ms. Syerova continued her musical education at Kiev State Music College graduating with a Bachelor degree in Piano, Accompaniment and Pedagogy. 
     She completed her Masters in Piano, Accompaniment, Chamber Music and Piano Pedagogy at Kiev State Conservatory. Ms. Syerova began her music career as a symphony orchestra accompanist and piano teacher at the Kiev State Institute of Performing Arts. In 1995, she immigrated to United States where she continues her music career. She is a faculty accompanist for the Opera Project at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, as well as for the Suzuki Institute.  In 2002, she published a piano book titled “29 Short Pieces for Beginners.”   Ms. Syerova has  also been selected for inclusion in the 58th Edition of Who’s Who in America.

Gere Fennelly is the winnner of many awards including S.F. weekly's "Best Cabaret Performer" (1991). She is fluent in many styles ranging from jazz standards to classical, pop, rock, blues, heavy metal and punk. She also possesses exceptional sight-reading and improvisational skills. Theatre credits: Hair and Oklahoma. Television: Tonight Show (with Redd Kross, 1994), Conan O'Brian (with Redd Kross, 1994), The Jon Stewart Show (with Redd Kross, 1994). Bands (toured and recorded with): Redd Kross, Speciman, Romeo Void, Bonnie Hayes, White Trash Debutantes, Debbie Harry, Joey Ramone, Lemmy (Motorhead), Anvil Chorus, and Rox. Producers (recorded for): Cliff Mangus, Little Steven, John Angello, Brian Kehew. In addition, Fennelly is a pianist and composer for Harvard Westlake.
